Walking Thesaurus

Okay, so, quick thing that happened this week during class…
I was discussing a specific question with two other students (it was a class discussion thing, my introvert self had no choice), and this girl, I think her name was Lilian, kept thinking of points but she’d explain them in detail when she could have just used one word (like describing sort of what wisdom is instead of just saying wisdom), so I summed up what she said with a word. This happened several times, and then she started explaining another bit and just looked at me and I went, “Ssssymbiosis?”
She nodded, quite pleased, and continued talking.
So it turns out, everybody, I’m a walking thesaurus.

Anyway, yeah, I missed posting on Tuesday. And yeah, I’ll probably miss it again. In fact, I might move my posting date to Fridays, or even skip some weeks altogether, since I have plenty of homework to fill my time.

Anyway, college is off to a good start, in my opinion. My favorite class is English 2045, which is a study of general literature. The professor is down-to-earth and funny, and the only things we really have to do in that class is read a few stories, take a short quiz on it to make sure we read it, then explore the various meanings of the text. We just read “Goodman Brown” by Nathaniel Hawthorne (I recommend it, it’s a good story), and our professor went over the entire story in depth, which was fascinating.

Oh! And the parking…

Parking is awful. I get there at about half past ten, and last Tuesday, I had to park in the little lot outside of the campus. Fortunately, I can find one or two spots in the K lot on Mondays and Wednesdays, but that still leaves me a long walk down a hill and back up. But hey, there’s a bright side, maybe I’ll up my stamina.

And that’s a short update!
I’ll try to keep my posting regular and interesting, but I make no promises.
